Draymond Green Explains Controversial Warriors vs. Thunder Ending

While it initially looked like Steph Curry had won the game with a last-second layup, the shot was waived off when the officials called basketball interference on Draymond Green.

What made this play even more confusing, was that the officials initially awarded Green the basket after the overturn, but the basket has since been appropriately given to Curry.

My perspective was that my hand touched the rim," Green said. "Because I was going, and it looked like the ball was about to pop out

so I was going to get a put-back... Hitting the rim is not a goaltend. I didn't affect the shot, and we won. I also saw Giddey had pulled the net as well."

While it initially looked like Steph Curry had won the game with a last-second layup, the shot was waived off when the officials called basketball interference on Draymond Green.

Green explained that him touching the rim did not impact the shot, which would have gone in had nobody touched the rim or net.

It was a strange play and a strange ending, but one the Warriors will certainly take as they improve to an impressive 5-1 on the new season.
